Will Walker serves as Wescott’s Business Development Representative. In his role, Will is a key contributor to Wescott’s Business Development Team, supporting the Business Development Officer and sales and marketing teams throughout the full sales process, including new client onboarding. Some of his strategic focuses include inbound lead engagement and qualifying, development of new business opportunities, as well as the growth of Wescott’s business development infrastructure and supporting special projects.
Will also sits on Wescott’s Sales and Marketing Committees, focused on the strategic sales and marketing goals and initiatives. Additionally, he is a member of the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers, and asset allocation design.
Prior to joining Wescott, Will held numerous analytical roles with various teams, including on the Product Development, Capital Markets, ESG, and RFP, at abrdn. He began his career as a Sales Engineer at Atlantic Tomorrow, and then as Financial Representative at International Planning Alliance.
Will received his B.S. in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). He is an inductee into their Blue and Gold Leadership Hall of Fame.
Civically, Will is a Camp Counselor for Camp No Worries, a non-profit organization that hosts a camp every summer for children with cancer and their siblings. He also mentors and educates young adults in entrepreneurship at Rising Leaders.
Will resides in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
