Wescott Financial Advisory Group LLC, an independent financial advisory firm, is committed to safeguarding the confidential information of its clients. We hold all personal information provided to our firm in the strictest confidence.
These records include all personal information that we collect from you in connection with any of the services provided by Wescott Financial Advisory Group LLC. As you know, we use the financial and other information you provide to us to help you strive to meet your personal financial goals while guarding against any real or perceived infringements of your rights of privacy.
Our policy with respect to personal information about you is listed as follows.
We limit employee, representative, and service provider access to information only to those who have a business or professional reason for knowing it, and only to nonaffiliated parties as permitted by law. We may disclose nonpublic personal information as necessary to service your account, process transactions, provide advisory services, respond to legal or regulatory requests, perform operational and compliance functions, and otherwise conduct our everyday business activities as permitted by law. For example, federal regulations permit us to share a limited amount of information about you with a brokerage firm to execute securities transactions on your behalf, or so that our firm can discuss your financial situation with your accountant, lawyer, or other advisor you may authorize.
We maintain a secure office and computer environment to ensure that your information is not placed at unreasonable risk. We also maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards reasonably designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of nonpublic personal information and to protect against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
The categories of nonpublic personal information that we collect from a client depend upon the scope of the client’s engagement. It will include information about your personal finances, information about your health, to the extent needed for the planning process, and information about transactions between you and third parties. Such information may also include information we receive from advisory agreements, questionnaires, account applications, custodians, brokers, or other parties with your authorization, including identifying information, account information, investment objectives, transaction history, tax-related information, and other details relevant to the services we provide.
For unaffiliated third parties that require access to your personal information, including financial service companies, consultants, and auditors, we also require strict confidentiality in our agreements with them, including requirements that they keep this information private. Such third parties may include custodians, brokerage firms, technology service providers, attorneys, accountants, auditors, consultants, and other vendors that provide services necessary to support our business operations and the services we provide to clients. Federal and state regulators also may review firm records as permitted under law. We do not provide your personally identifiable information to mailing list vendors or solicitors for any purpose at any time. Further, we do not disclose nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Because Wescott limits its information-sharing practices to those permitted by applicable law and does not share nonpublic personal information in a manner that triggers an opt-out right under federal privacy laws, clients generally do not have the right to opt out of the information-sharing practices described in this notice.
We maintain the same standards of confidentiality and protection for the nonpublic personal information of former clients as we do for current clients and continue to limit disclosure of such information as required or permitted by law.
Personally identifiable information about you will be maintained during the time you are a client, and for the time thereafter for the periods that such records are required by the applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as our record retention policies. Following the applicable retention period, such information may be securely destroyed.
As required by applicable federal law, we provide clients with notices regarding our privacy practices and will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Statement when required.
Questions regarding this Privacy Statement may be directed to Wescott Financial Advisory Group LLC at 215.979.1619, or cdelgott@wescott.com.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Statement from time to time, consistent with applicable law. If material changes are made, we will provide notice as required by law.
This policy is effective as of 12 August 2026.
