Timothy Ferko is Wescott’s Director of Harleysville Office, Senior Financial Advisor.  He is responsible for the preparation and the ongoing management of clients’ financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation.  Committed to designing optimal paths for his clients to live their ideal lives, Tim’s expertise focuses on multi-faceted, comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning and investment management.  In addition, he oversees the day-to-day operations and advisory initiatives of the Harleysville office.

He is a member of Wescott’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.

Prior to joining Wescott, Tim was a Wealth Planning Associate at Asset Planning Services, Ltd. (APS).  He began his career in the financial services industry with The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA.  During his tenure, he held various advisor and management positions within the Institutional and High-Net-Worth Department. In 2006, Tim founded an Allstate agency in Shillington, PA. to offer risk management and investment advisory financial services to clients.  He sold his firm in mid-2020.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Property and Casualty, Life, Health, and Annuity licenses from the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.  In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Tim is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), earning his certification from the American College.  Most recently, he earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina (UNC), Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Tim resides in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, with his wife and two children.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
