Joseph A. Frazer

Associate Financial Advisor

Joe Frazer is an Associate Financial Advisor with Wescott, working in close collaboration with Wescott’s Principal and Senior Financial Advisors to onboard, maintain and deliver comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to clients.  His responsibilities include the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation.

As a member of Wescott’s Tax Alpha Group, Joe assists in the development of tax-efficient strategies and educational materials to address clients’ complex tax issues and reduce their income tax liabilities.  He also serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.

Prior to joining Wescott, Joe interned with J.P. Morgan Chase in their global finance and business analyst program where he worked on several projects streamlining their “business as usual” processes.

A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and financial planning from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.  While at Temple, he managed the William C. Dunkelberg Owl Fund’s portfolio over the summer and additionally served as an analyst to the Consumer and Technology sectors.  The William C. Dunkelberg Owl Fund is a student run investment portfolio management team supervising a portion of the University’s endowment.  He was also actively involved in their chapter of Athletes Helping Athletes, where he served as treasurer.

Joe resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S. which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
