James Ciamacco is a Financial Advisor with Wescott and is responsible for supporting the senior financial advisory team with the preparation and the ongoing management of clients’ financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation. Committed to designing optimal paths for his clients to live their ideal lives, James’ expertise focuses on multi-faceted, comprehensive financial planning, tax, retirement planning, estate planning, charitable giving, and investment management.
As a member of Wescott’s Tax Alpha Group, James plays a critical role in the development of tax-efficient strategies and educational materials to address clients’ complex tax issues and reduce their income tax liabilities. He also serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.
Prior to joining Wescott, James was a financial advisor and client relationship specialist with other highly respected wealth management and financial advisory firms, focusing on sophisticated, multi-generational planning for high-net-worth clients and relationship development.
A Certified Financial Planner™, James earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with minors in History and Economics, from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Taxation, with a concentration in Employee Benefits, from Villanova University. Active in the financial planning community, he is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
He resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
