Carrie Delgott is Wescott’s Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. As a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Carrie plays a critical role in guiding Wescott’s operations, finances, innovations, client service and growth initiatives. Carrie’s role helps define, implement and monitor firm policies and regulatory compliance, and ensure that clients and staff are served in a manner consistent with firm values.
Carrie also serves as a member of Wescott’s Investment Committee, a governance committee responsible for the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers, asset allocation design and regulatory compliance.
Beginning her career as a financial analyst for Wawa, then moving to Vanguard, Carrie supported the divisional and senior leadership with planning, budgeting and reporting to ensure the financial viability of new projects and products. At Vanguard, she developed a strategic project management foundation and broad business acumen through her role in Corporate Strategy and as the Chief of Staff for the Managing Director of Vanguard’s Institutional Investor Group.
With these skills, Carrie continued her 20-year career with Vanguard in an array of areas, including finance, operations, technology and client service. As the Department Head of the Institutional Business Technology and Analytics group, she and her team lead the Vanguard Participant Experience program from strategy to execution, setting the foundation for the digital evolution of Vanguard’s participant client experience. Next as the Director of Vanguard’s Ultra-High-Net-Worth segment, Carrie and her team designed, developed and led a new Ultra-High-Net-Worth business model for clients with $10 million or more in retail assets.
Carrie then rose to become the Finance Director for Vanguard’s Retail Division, where she influenced the budgeting and reporting process, and provided decision support for one third of Vanguard’s total operating expenses. Immediately prior to joining Wescott, she led the transformation of Vanguard’s Procurement Services and Accounts Payable functions to a new, global Enterprise Supply Management organization as their Director of Program Management.
In addition to her professional achievements, Carrie proudly commits her time and talents to local non-profits and community projects. She is currently a member of the Finance Committee for the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls.
A graduate from Penn State University, she received her bachelor’s degree in Finance and received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Widener University.
Carrie resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania with her husband Robert and their son, Jason.
