Benjamin G. Janssen

Benjamin Janssen is a Financial Advisor with Wescott, working in close collaboration with Wescott’s Principal and Senior Financial Advisors to onboard, maintain and deliver comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to clients.  His responsibilities include the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation.

Prior to joining Wescott, Ben’s professional experience includes serving as a portfolio analyst with BNY Mellon, and a compensation analyst with a Philadelphia area healthcare organization.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Ben earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, and his MBA in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.  While at Penn State, he was the captain of his rugby team.

Ben resides in Norristown, Pennsylvania with his wife, Kate, and their daughters.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
