Andrea Berger is a Senior Financial Planning Analyst with Wescott, working in close collaboration with Wescott’s Director of Financial Planning Standards (DFPS) to develop, enhance, and maintain the firm’s financial planning processes and procedures. She also assists in the development and management of a variety of non-client, financial planning projects, such as research on new best practices or relevant regulations.
In addition to these responsibilities, she supports the Principal and Senior Financial Advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning services to clients. These include the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans and updates, along with fulfilling client service requests and identifying and improving planning methods and opportunities.
As a member of the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, Andrea helps to oversee Wescott’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.
Bringing ten years of financial planning expertise to her role at Wescott, her previous professional experience includes serving as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst with Creative Financial Group, a part of MassMutual. There, she provided comprehensive financial planning services to advisors, along with mentoring newer advisors and teaching webinars on a variety of complex financial topics.
A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in economics and minored in both philosophy and mathematics. Active in her community, she volunteers with Main Line Animal Rescue, her local PA SPCA affiliate.
Andrea resides in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
