Alex Rawdin serves as Wescott’s Business Development Officer. In his role, Alex leverages his financial, sales, and digital backgrounds to drive Wescott’s organic growth agenda through new client development program design and implementation. In addition to cultivating and maintain relationships with centers of influence and key partners, Alex’s primary function is guiding prospective clients through Wescott’s service offerings to help uncover how the firm can best support their financial advisory needs.
Alex also sits on Wescott’s Sales and Marketing Committees. Additionally, he is a member of the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers, and asset allocation design.
Most recently, Alex served as Wescott’s Director of Entrada Client Solutions, spearheading the firm’s development of Entrada, an end-to-end digital investment management and financial planning solution.
Immediately prior to joining Wescott, Alex served as Senior Campaign Manager at Pandora Media Inc., focusing on strategy, planning, and implementation of large-scale digital campaigns for multi-national brands, as well as team-wide service initiatives. Throughout his career, Alex has held numerous business development, client service, and marketing roles in the technology, entertainment, and media space.
A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Alex received his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises from The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Alex is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
Civically, Alex has served as Artist Liaison for HeadCount, a non-profit organization leveraging live music for non-partisan engagement. He also keeps up a lifelong passion of playing and writing music.
Alex resides in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania with his wife, Hannah Rawdin, and their two daughters and dog.
