Tipiwa Walker is an Associate Financial Advisor with Wescott, working in close collaboration with Wescott’s Principal and Senior Financial Advisors to onboard, maintain and deliver comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to clients. Her responsibilities include the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation.
She serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.
A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) Candidate, Tipiwa’s impressive professional experience includes investment planning, financial planning/consulting and regulatory compliance with several national and international firms. Prior to joining Wescott, she was an investment consultant with the United States Agency for International Development in Washington D.C. where she served as a conduit for multinational agribusiness investors wanting to fund sustainability initiatives in specific African countries.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in applied finance, with honors in economics, from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and her MBA from the University of San Diego.
Tipiwa resides in Bronxville, New York with her son.
