Rebecca Thompson is a Financial Advisor with Wescott and is responsible for the preparation and ongoing management of clients’ financial plans and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation, in addition to supporting the senior financial advisory team with complex planning issues. Her expertise lies in cash flow, risk management, investments, retirement planning and estate planning.
She serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.
A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Certified Paralegal, her extensive professional experience includes operational, client services and paralegal roles with regional advisory and law firms. Prior to joining Wescott, Rebecca was the Office Executive, Chief of Staff for a prominent family in the greater Philadelphia area, providing family home office services that included managing client wealth, investment and asset reporting, grant and charitable giving coordination and bookkeeping.
Active in her community, Rebecca serves on the development committee for the Montgomery Theater, the Race to End Hunger committee for Manna on Main Street and the First Fridays committee for Discover Lansdale. She earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies specializing in leadership development from Villanova University.
Rebecca resides in Lansdale, Pennsylvania with her husband, Brian Thompson. She is also a proud Air Force mom to daughter, Shelby.
