Jocelyn Schwartz is a Principal and Senior Financial Advisor with Wescott, focusing on the management and new development of exclusive client relationships. She provides leadership to multiple advisory teams to fulfill and exceed expectations in the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews, recommendations and implementation. Jocelyn is also an integral voice in the design and advancement of firm initiatives that create innovative solutions and services for Wescott clients. In addition, she serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.
To the firm, Jocelyn brings her impressive professional skillset that includes comprehensive and customized financial, tax, retirement and philanthropic planning and risk assessment, as well as complex estate and multi-generational planning for HNW and UHNW individuals and families. With her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and LL.M. in taxation, she brings a unique, beneficial perspective to her clients’ intricate planning needs with her legal acumen. She is also a Certified Financial Planner™.
For nearly two decades prior to joining the Wescott team, Jocelyn developed and honed her extensive expertise at some of the nation’s most well respected wealth management and financial planning firms. Most recently, she was the Director for SCS Financial’s Private Client Group. There she developed customized planning strategies for UHNW families, identifying planning opportunities to meet their unique goals.
Within the professional community, Jocelyn is a proud member of 100 Women in Finance, a global organization committed to gender equity in finance through the promotion of diversity, raising visibility and empowering women to find their personal path to success. While in Boston, she was an active participant in many of the Boston Estate Planning Council’s initiatives, and admitted into the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Jocelyn received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ithaca College, attained her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law and completed her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
She resides in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
